The Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA) has hosted the Sustainable Development Summit & Awards 2025 at HICC, Hyderabad, bringing together government leaders, industry, NGOs and academia to deliberate on how purposeful leadership and collective action can create lasting social impact.

Welcoming the gathering lamp lighting and the welcome address by HYSEA President Prashanth Nandella, President, HYSEA, said:
“Hyderabad’s IT and ITeS industry has always been a force for innovation and growth, but our responsibility goes far beyond business. Through HYSEA’s CSR Forum, we have seen how collective action in education, environment, and health can transform lives, whether it is bringing digital literacy to thousands of government school students, mobilizing volunteers to green our city, or strengthening healthcare during the pandemic. With this summit and the launch of the HYSEA Impact Hub, we are taking that commitment further. The award winners we honour today represent what is best in our ecosystem: purpose-led, impactful, and scalable models that can inspire many more. Together, we want to position Hyderabad not only as a global technology hub but also as a leader in sustainability and inclusive growth.”

HYSEA’s CSR Forum and the Impact Hub will be catalysts in this journey to create transparent, scalable, and sustainable outcomes.”
The highlight of the summit was the launch of HYSEA ImpactHub – A CSR Exchange Portal and presentation of the HYSEA Sustainable Development Awards 2025 by the Chief Guest Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma.
HYSEA Impact Hub is a first-of-its-kind digital portal for members that connects corporates with vetted NGO projects to drive purposeful and measurable social impact.
Addressing the gathering after the launch and presenting the awards, the Hon’ble Governor said, “It is inspiring to see HYSEA and its member companies lead by example in demonstrating that business success and social responsibility go hand in hand.
True progress, I believe, is measured by the quality of life of the most vulnerable. CSR is not merely a percentage of profits; it is a culture of responsibility and empathy. I commend HYSEA for launching the Impact Hub and for recognising companies that lead with purpose. These initiatives show how Hyderabad’s IT industry can be a force not just for growth, but also for social good and environmental stewardship. When corporates, government, and civil society align innovation with inclusion and growth with responsibility, Telangana can set a benchmark for sustainable and inclusive development in the nation.”
He later presented HYSEA Sustainable development Awards 2025 to IT/ITES companies for creating measurable & lasting social impact in the areas of Education and Skilling, Environment and Sustainability and Community Health & Well-being across three categories.
