ONGC Likely to Aquire HPC, in order to Compete with Global Oil Giants

Although unconfirmed, but there are reports that says state run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is planning to acquire Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPC), as part of an earlier stated aim to create a mega entity in the sector. If this going to happen, it will make ONGC world’s one of the largest Oil companies.
