After Govt's FDI in Retail Notification, Apple Announced Expansion Plans for Indian Market

The Indian Governement's official statement on Retail FDI Norms came on Wednesday wich said to ease the FDI norms for single-brand retail, offering more flexibility on local sourcing norms. It also did away a provision that required companies to mandatorily set up a brick-and-mortar store before getting into online retail trading. And less than 24 hours, Apple made this announcement.
