15th Indian Houseware Show 2025 was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, in Halls 8 to 11. After the inauguration, CM Rekha Gupta visited the stalls of exhibition and appreciated the unique innovations of the houseware manufacturers. This three-day B2B exhibition, running from July 12 to 14, is being organized by Steel Market Info under the leadership of show organizer R. L. Chaudhary.
Address to the exhibitors, visitors and Media person During the inauguration, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta praised India’s steel industry, noting how Indian innovation has transformed everyday utility items into premium, globally competitive products. She emphasized that Indian steel products are now being exported even to countries like China. Applauding the innovation, startups, and technological advancement in this sector, she extended heartfelt congratulations to R. L. Chaudhary, Chief Editor of Steel Market Info and the event’s organizer, as well as to all participants.
The Chief Minister highlighted government initiatives such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Vocal for Local” campaign and the ODOP (One District, One Product) scheme. She said adopting Indian products not only strengthens the national economy but also supports local industries and generates employment for the youth. Expressing pride that people from her own constituency are achieving great strides in the steel sector, she pledged her active support for the development of the steel industry, not just in Delhi but across the country.
The CM further said, this exhibition is not only a source of inspiration for Delhi but also for the entire nation, playing a vital role in achieving Prime Minister Modiji’s vision of making India the world’s third-largest economy.
On this occasion, R. L. Chaudhary, the event organizer and Chief Editor of Steel Market Info, expressed his deep gratitude to the Chief Minister for inaugurating the event despite her busy schedule. He shared that the 15th Indian Houseware Show is the largest houseware exhibition in India, with over 130 exhibitors and more than 10,000 importers and traders from both India and abroad expected to attend. It is also receiving strong support from industry bodies like the Utensils Trade Association Delhi, Wazirpur Utensils Manufacturers Association, and the Deputyganj Stainless Steel Utensils Traders Association, making the event even more comprehensive and impactful.
Organizer R. L. Chaudhary — a former army veteran and Chief Editor of Steel Market Info — shared that this show has been held regularly in different cities across India since 2010. So far, 622 exhibitors from 66 Indian cities and over 20,000 traders have participated. Additionally, 98 exhibitors from 8 countries and 330 traders from 61 countries have attended the show internationally.
