Building on the success of its previous editions, Vivekanand Education Society (VES) is set to host the Grand Finale of 4th edition of VES Technothon, themed Aarambh (What If?), in collaboration with the VES Polytechnic Alumni Association (VESPAA) on 28th February and 1st March 2026. The state-level, 24-hour Hackathon will bring together diploma engineering students from across Maharashtra, offering a dynamic platform for hands-on learning, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving. The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) is the official outreach partner.
VES Technothon 2026 has already recorded registrations from 200+ teams representing 24 institutes across 10 districts, with over 30% out-station participation, underscoring the Technothon’s expanding reach, inclusivity, and growing appeal among diploma engineering students. The Technothon features a prize pool of INR 1.1 lakh, along with internship opportunities. This year, VES Technothon aims to provide and support industry-backed problem statements and introduces an NGO engagement initiative through the ‘Technothon for Cause’ segment. It also fosters an inclusive, industry-aligned ecosystem where students can transform ideas into impactful solutions through mentorship and hands-on learning.
The 24-hour grand finale, reflects VES Polytechnic’s commitment to nurturing future-ready engineers through experiential education. Connectwell Industries Pvt. Ltd. joins as the Title Sponsor, while VEGA India Level & Pressure Measurement Private Limited comes on board as the Associate Sponsor, reinforcing strong industry participation and support for Technothon 2026. Supporting this journey are Axis Solutions Ltd. as the Innovation Partner, Vibrant Publishers as the Knowledge Partner, Veloce Nextgen as the Strategy Partner, and initiative supporters including CM Techtronics, PPI, MB Automation, Sonal G. Since its inception in 2023, VES Technothon has witnessed consistent growth and impact—beginning as a college-level initiative focused on real-world engineering challenges, evolving into a more structured and robust second edition in 2024 with higher student engagement, and expanding to the state level in 2025 with participation from multiple polytechnic institutes across Maharashtra. With the 2026 edition, VES looks forward to fostering even more innovative and impactful problem-solving.
