Telecom Sector Skill Council, India's premier skill development institution for the telecom sector today joined hands with Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) and German Academy of Digital Education (DADB) to introduce a range of cutting-edge digital courses. The courses were launched at the India Mobile Congress 2023.
The collaboration between TSSC and ISAC has given birth to the Cyber Safety Essentials (CSE) program, designed to empower India's youth, especially those below the age of 16, with essential cyber safety knowledge and practical skills. This initiative aims to mold young minds into true Cybersecurity Champions, equipping them with over 100 byte-sized awareness videos and interactive quizzes tailored for children.
Furthermore, in partnership with DADB, TSSC is launching courses on E-Mobility and Hydrogen Technology, providing Indian youth direct access to state-of-the-art digital education from Germany. The Hydrogen Technology course addresses critical aspects of hydrogen production, storage, and renewable energy integration, aligning with India's ambitious goals in the green energy sector. Similarly, the E-Mobility course prepares students for the burgeoning electric vehicle market, which is poised to create millions of jobs in manufacturing, maintenance, and infrastructure development by 2030.
On the launch of these courses, Arvind Bali, CEO, Telecom Sector Skill Council said, “Through our strategic collaborations with ISAC and DADB, TSSC is revolutionizing skill development in the telecom sector. These digital courses will empower the youth to access cutting-edge knowledge and expertise from across the globe, transcending geographical boundaries. Whether it's fostering the next generation of Cybersecurity Champions or preparing students for the green energy revolution, our courses enable individuals to draw guidance and inspiration from far-reaching places, ultimately shaping a brighter, more secure future for India.
With these innovative courses, TSSC is not only enhancing employability but also contributing significantly to the development of a highly skilled workforce in the telecom sector. The digital format of these courses enables accessibility for a wide demographic, ensuring that quality education reaches every corner of the nation.
