Telit IoT Platform to Power Swisscom IoT Services

 Telit, announced that the Telit IoT Platform for mobile network operators – a carrier-ready Application Enablement Platform –has been licensed to Swisscom as the core embedded technology for the new IoT services Swisscom will be offering.  The turnkey IoT Platform lets Switzerland’s leading communications provider offer end-to-end IoT services and rapid application development.

The Cloud-based Platform, powered by device WISE, is installed in the Swisscom data center, based in Switzerland.  The comprehensive IoT Platform includes all the critical connection,management and integration functions for scalable and secure IoT deployments.  Among the Platform’s unmatched differentiators are built-in capabilities for connectivity management, remote device management, edge intelligence, enterprise integration, end-to-end security, custom app creation, dash boarding and big data analytics.

The device WISE platform extends Swisscom’s service portfolio where by Swisscom is adding Business Process Design, Predictive Analytics and ERP Integration centered on its customers’ connected ‘things’ under its System Integration Services.The IoT Platform supplements the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering for Swisscom customers. Swisscom recently launched its Application Cloud for developers. Swisscom aims to help its industrial customers develop game changing solutions that foster efficiency in daily processes, increase customer intimacy and enables business model innovation.
