Tech Data Appointed Primary Distributor of Equinix in India

Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX company, today announced the expansion of its strategic partnership with Equinix, the world’s digital infrastructure company®, to accelerate the development of secure, scalable, and sustainable digital infrastructure across India. As part of this collaboration, Tech Data will serve as Equinix’s primary distributor in India, enabling its partners to deliver AI-ready, high-performance, and energy-efficient solutions to support hybrid multi-cloud and data-intensive workloads. 

This partnership brings together Equinix’s globally interconnected, high-performance digital infrastructure and Tech Data’s deep channel reach, technical expertise, and partner enablement capabilities, creating a powerful go-to-market engine for India’s rapidly evolving digital economy. 

Through Tech Data, partners will gain streamlined access to Equinix Fabric®, a high-speed, software-defined interconnection service, for private, low-latency connectivity to global and local cloud service providers, major network providers, digital ecosystems, and business partners. The portfolio also includes Equinix’s data center services, offering highly resilient, secure, and customizable colocation solutions built to support AI-driven workloads while optimising power efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
