Sprinto, an AI-native governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) automation platform, has announced a partnership with Astra Security, a vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) provider, to offer a more streamlined path to audit-ready compliance for fast-growing companies.
The partnership brings together Sprinto’s compliance automation capabilities with Astra Security’s independent vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) services.
In practice, Compliance buyers get stuck finding a separate VAPT vendor. It delays audits, adds confusion, and creates compliance fatigue. By offering a bundled engagement, the collaboration aims to reduce delays caused by vendor coordination, procurement cycles, and fragmented workflows.
Under the partnership, Astra Security conducts vulnerability assessments and penetration testing as an independent third party, while Sprinto manages compliance workflows, evidence collection, and audit readiness across frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001. The separation between testing and compliance is maintained to align with audit best practices around independence and segregation of duties.
Girish Redekar, Co-founder and CEO, Sprinto, said, “In an era where speed to market is everything, companies are still being held back by disconnected vendors and processes. With Astra, we are shaping a future where businesses can rely on automated compliance and independent security testing working in tandem, enabling faster audits and the level of credibility auditors expect,”
As part of the engagement, organizations undergo security testing through Astra, remediate identified findings, and complete re-testing before progressing through Sprinto’s compliance and auditor review process. The companies said this coordinated approach helps teams move from security assessment to audit readiness in significantly less time compared to traditional, multi-vendor setups.
According to Shikhil Sharma, Founder and CEO, Astra Security, “Security testing and compliance were never meant to be siloed. The traditional vendor hunt creates frustrating delays. Our partnership with Sprinto ends that."
The joint offering is currently focused on early-stage and scaling companies across the Asia-Pacific region, including India, where demand for global compliance standards has increased as organizations expand into international markets.
Sprinto supports over 200 global security and compliance frameworks, while Astra Security provides AI-assisted and expert-led VAPT services across web, API, cloud, and mobile environments.
Sprinto works with a diverse portfolio of fast-growing companies across India and around the world, including Whatfix, Bizongo, Happay, Turtlemint, and Rocketlane, among others. Backed by Accel, Elevation Capital, and Blume Ventures, the company recently raised $20 million in a Series B round to advance its AI-driven compliance capabilities and accelerate its global expansion.
