Oracle is poised to become a frontrunner in India's rapidly evolving cloud and AI landscape, driven by strong expansion across its cloud portfolio and a dynamic strategy centered on tailored, industry-specific solutions. Unveiling its latest go-to-market initiatives at the ‘Oracle AI World Tour in Mumbai’, top India leadership including Kapil Makhija, Vice President of Technology Cloud, and Shailesh Singla, Vice President of Cloud Applications, shared Oracle’s encouraging momentum in India, underpinned by continuous AI-driven innovation and a deep commitment to the Indian market.

Oracle’s India footprint has grown significantly since launching its Oracle Cloud Regions in Mumbai (2019) and Hyderabad (2020). Driven by soaring demand from both private and public sector clients, these MeitY-empanelled data centers have undergone multiple capacity expansions. • Multicloud: Oracle launched Oracle Database@Google Cloud in India in December 2025, making its advanced, AI-powered database services available in the Asia-South 1 (Mumbai) Google Cloud region. This multicloud offering enables enterprises to combine Oracle’s AI Database features with Google Cloud’s analytics and AI services, supporting innovation, compliance, and efficient migration of mission-critical workloads.
