While technology adoption have become the central aspect of business continuity in the times of COVID-19. SMEStreet is reaching out to MSMEs across India with an aim to identify and understand MSMEs' preparedness levels for a long term sustainable Work From Home capabilities.

SMEStreet has kickstarted a nationwide survey to study and understand MSMEs’ Work from Home Preparedness. This exercise is aimed to highlight the actual on-ground reality of technology adoption among MSMEs especially around the tough times of survival.

“Since the lockdown conditions have made the industry go all around and we have witnessed a huge amount of unplanned adoption of technology at the MSME level. SMEStreet being a proactive ecosystem for MSMEs & startups, we realised the need to understand the aspect of MSMEs’ preparedness & readiness for a long term sustainable planning for Work from Home or managing remote operations. For this, we have started this nationwide digital survey which will be promoted through various social media and digital media platforms. I am sure that this activity will highlight a great amount of understanding the status of technology adoption for a sustainable work-from-home strategy among MSMEs,” informed Faiz Askari, founder of SMEStreet.

This survey is expected to cover over 60 thousand MSMEs over the next few months for this initiative. This survey is also expected to highlights trends that are related to the subject of how digital and collaborative technologies have created their space among MSMEs. While another important aspect that this survey will unleash will come from level of data security issues among MSMEs in the times of COVOD-19.
