MATH (Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub), the pioneering hub for AI and ML technologies and a collaborative effort between the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and T-Hub has today announced the winners of its flagship Hackathon and Startup Pitch competitions at the Telangana Government’s Global AI Summit. The Global AI Summit brought together over 2,500 delegates, including global AI experts, startup founders, and industry leaders, further solidifying Telangana’s position as a growing hub for AI innovation and entrepreneurship in India.
The summit featured a distinguished lineup of dignitaries, including Sridhar Babu, IT Minister of Telangana, Rama Devi Lanka, Director of Emerging Technologies Wing, Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of IT, Government of Telangana, Mahankali Srinivas Rao (MSR), CEO of T-Hub etc. In their presence, the felicitation ceremony honored the top three hackathon teams – Flatmates, Salubrity Health, and SoulSupport – who received cash prizes of ₹5 lakh, ₹3 lakh, and ₹2 lakh, respectively. The hackathon, supported by TalentFarm.ai and Idealabs Ventures Pvt Ltd, attracted over 12,000 registrations from 3,000 teams, with 30 finalists advancing to the final round. The winning teams addressed real-world challenges through AI, showcasing the exceptional talent and problem-solving skills of India’s next generation of AI innovators.
The Startup Pitch Games also took center stage, where 200+ nominations were received, and 20 startups were shortlisted for their disruptive ideas. Notable participants included QUIPU, Onnes Cryogenics, GoSure, Renote, Smartail, EcoSynthetics, AquaSense, NexTech, and MedAI, among others, who impressed with their solutions in smart city innovations and AI-driven diagnostics. Winning startups will gain access to MATH’s extensive network of investors, mentors, and industry experts, unlocking significant funding and partnership opportunities.
In parallel, the Startup Showcase featured 150+ registrations, with 50 startups exhibiting their cutting-edge products and solutions to industry stakeholders. This platform gave startups unprecedented visibility to potential investors and corporate partners. Notable mentions from MATH’s own cohort of 25 startups included Kofuku, Setv, Hire+++AI Tech, and Rava AI, which demonstrated innovations in AI hiring, enterprise automation, and more.

Following the summit, the winning startups will be incubated at MATH, where they will have access to MATH’s full suite of offerings, including compute facilities, co-working space, Data Lake, the NAIM Learning Management System, and the AI Career Finder. These resources will equip startups to continue innovating and scaling, contributing to India’s rapidly growing AI ecosystem.
The Global AI Summit has become a landmark event in Telangana’s journey to becoming a global AI hub.
