"Through this communication, we would also like to update you about American Express’s latest campaign, Shop Small which is currently live in India. This campaign is designed to support small, independent businesses and call attention to the valuable and distinct contributions they make to their communities and the economy.

This year’s campaign has over 80,000 small and medium-sized merchants participating, including supermarkets, retail shops, healthcare services, bakeries, restaurants, and hotels across 6 cities - Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Pune, and Hyderabad.  During the campaign period - 3 August 2021 until 31 October 2021, American Express Cardmembers get 500* Cashback each time they spend 1,000 at participating small businesses, up to 5 times. This offer is entirely fulfilled by American Express®, at no cost to the merchants.

At all participating merchant stores, there are Shop Small signs - stickers placed on the front window or door and display tent cards at point of sale to let customers know that they can use this offer at the store."
