Horizon to Employee Over 25,000 Semi / Non-Skilled Workers
Horizon Outsource Solutions, a Business Process Outsourcing company based in Mumbai is set to hire a whopping 25,000 semi / non skilled people across cities in India for which a part of the payroll will be outsourced. Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, launched the Skill India Campaign which aims at polishing the manpower surplus of 4 crore to 5 crore which India will have over the next decade. “India is a power-hub of knowledge and skill. The problem that people face is the lack of facility and exposure for sharpening their skills. The company plans to kick-start this initiative in cities like Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Raipur, Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi and Noida. “Depending on the response from few selective cities we may think about taking this initiative at a larger level as well. Our experts will identify and train people in order to enable them to take up various job responsibilities and face global challenges. We are aiming at nurturing these people for profiles like Customer Service, Making soft or reminder calls and other back office work related to documentation. We are also exploring other profiles where certain amount of training is required based on the intensity of the work” adds Upadhyay who also recently bagged the CEO of the year award.
