The year-on-year growth in volume stood at 70% from 1.30 Bn transactions in December 2019 to 2.2 Bn in 2020, while the value of UPI transactions increased 105% from INR 2.02 lakh crore in December 2019 to INR 4.16 lakh Cr in December 2020.
