With an underlying aim to prepare IT students to defend the increased cyber-attacks, GajShield Infotech recently participated in Virtual Vidya, a cyber-security awareness programme organized by Indira Group of Institutes. Held on 28th April 2022, the three day programme, which was attended by a technical consultant at, GajShield Infotech, focussed on crucial topics that stressed on the need for cyber security in the IT domain. The awareness program gave participants an insight on crucial topics like CIA Triad, introduction to cybercrimes and its types, a journey through a hacker’s lens, malware, phishing attacks and its types, SSL/HTTPS, secure browsing, webcam protection and cyber ethics. Some of the other topics that were covered include, securing personal devices, practical sessions on encrypting USB, data backup and practical sessions on steganography to name a few.
