The current world crises triggered by the Covid19 health emergency is unprecedented, leaving the world befuddled on how to move forward. Trying to bring some order to this chaos, is CorpGini which announced The (Corporate) Punch - India’s largest virtual panel discussion that brings together 50+ top business leaders and thinkers to lead the discussions that’ll help India tide through the Covid19 uncertainties. What started as a small initiative, a week back CorpGini received an overwhelming response and participation in less than seven days from all over the globe with 5000 plus corporates joining the series of panel discussion and startups pitches for offering innovative solutions. Over 100 startups and 5000+ corporates will join in to chart the path ahead, in alliance with CorpGini’s global ecosystem. The (Corporate) Punch will be held from April 8-11, 2020 with tactfully packed-in one hour sessions from 11 AM - 12 noon IST (Registration Link: http://bit.ly/CGVirtualPanel)

With The (Corporate) Punch, CorpGini has designed and created India’s first and largest virtual corporate sustainability and growth program. The 6 key themes of the discussion came out of the research from talking to a large number of corporates that they work with and the relevant speakers were invited to discuss corporate challenges and handpicked startups relevantly selected for each challenge. The panel discussion is supported by solid partners like BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange), Business Standard, UC Berkeley (USA), and British Deputy High Commission (UK), Toronto Business Development Centre (Canada), making it a formidable India-focused global program. India’s most respected and successful leaders will front the panel discussions that will take on uncomfortable questions, innovate and strategize on the way forward. An important objective is to help the participants to connect with CorpGini’s global ecosystem via its parent companies - Z Nation Lab and Pantomath Group.

The panel discussion program is designed with immaculate care, ensuring that it touches upon all the major areas that are of primary concern to businesses for the current and coming year. The week-long discussions will cover:

  •   April 8, 2020: Team Motivation, Skill Development and the role of HR
  •   April 9, 2020: How technology can help companies operate during a pandemic
  •   April 10, 2020: Workforce Productivity in this time of crisis
  •   April 11, 2020: Economy & Business Post COVID-19 : Investors’ Perspective

These panel discussions will be led by industry stalwarts who have created and run India’s most successful brands. The confirmed list of panelists include Mr. Kewal Handa (Chairman, UBI), Sai Venkateshwaran (Partner & Head - CFO Advisory, KPMG India), Mr. Sanjeev Pendharkar (MD, Vicco Laboratories), Mr. Arun Anandgiri (Founder - Taxsutra), Ms. Shobhana Lele (CIO - Bombay Dyeing), Mr. Navneet Munot (CIO - SBI Mutual Fund), Mr. Nilesh Shah (MD - Kotak Mahindra AMC), Mr. Gautam Balakrishnan (CMO - Services, Tata Projects), Ms. Jyotsna Sharma (CFO and Head of IT - Bridgestone) and many more. They will all share their rich experience and participants will have a rare opportunity to hear them out and pick their brains on strategies and workable frameworks for the future.

Each of the panel discussions will be followed by select pitches from CEOs of startups which can provide valuable solutions to Corporates around key areas of challenges in present times. The (Corporate) Punch will, hence, help aid all participants to not just feel a sense of community in this time of crisis, but also support them as a platform for prospective business development and lead generation.

Amit Jain, CEO, Corpgini & Z Nation Lab “With global lockdowns, there are extreme changes in consumer behaviour and market patterns. The current times make it certain that our future will definitely be driven by technology, as we’re seeing how, in a span of days, offices across the world have moved to e-meetings, online scheduling and remote desktop sharing. The (Corporate) Punch is our attempt to help our community survive the crisis with the power of knowledge sharing. The response has been overwhelming, with over 5,000 participants, and counting, from all over the globe having signed up within a span of just 7 days. With our programming and participation, we are confident that this will be a truly national initiative to support corporates, startups and SMEs across all sectors in India to march into the future, hand-in-hand”

Mahavir Lunawat, Co-Founder CorpGini and Group Founder, Pantomath further added, "On carrying a massive outreach to SMEs and mid market corporates, we understand that, they are faced with numerous practical challenges so much so that the sheer sustainability has become a prime focus. The current situation throws scary implications on employment level, exports, consumption, savings, GDP. We started connecting to global innovations and technologies via our online community platform, CorpGini, and aim to present the curated ones to Indian industry so that businesses not only sustain through the challenges but also achieve efficient growth post Covid and overall economy absorbs shocks. We are glad to share that thousands of industry players are participating in our initiative, which is named as “Corporate Punch” : as we contribute in this fashion in our fight against #Covid-19."

Neha Jain,  Co-Founder & CMO, CorpGini “This is the time when institutions globally are playing their role and have come together to help corporates and startups.  Premier organisations such as BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange), UC Berkeley (USA), British Deputy High Commission (UK) and Toronto Business Development Centre (Canada) have partnered with CorpGini Initiative and reached out to their members to extend their support.”

Anup Mehta, Co-founder, Z Nation Lab “One of the biggest challenges for startups is the sales cycle and customer acquisition cost especially for B2B and Saas startups which could eventually define the success of the startup. There has been a long need for our portfolio companies and and startup ecosystem at large to have a platform where they can engage with the decision makers of relevant corporations. The objective of The (Corporate) Punch is four-fold. To pre-empt the challenges Indian corporates will face in this crisis; to prioritise the more urgent challenges that need immediate attention; to find solutions through local and global partnerships; and to put together a working mechanism to implement these solutions at a rapid speed. If we achieve this, we would be able to soften the severe blow that the current crisis is likely to hand us. At CorpGini, we have great experience in organising companies in learning groups and evolving through disruptive changes. We have over 10,000 SMEs on our network, we have provided unique solutions to global corporations having over US$ 1,000 billion in market cap. This gives us faith that we are on to something special with The (Corporate) Punch and it will pave the way forward for the Indian business community”

CorpGini, founded in 2019, is an initiative by Z Nation Lab and Pantomath Group that connects leading Corporates to innovative startups that are building solutions that solve industry-wise problems. In times of isolation and self-quarantine, the thriving discussions on India’s largest virtual corporate innovation gathering will help participants to feel like they belong to a larger global ecosystem that is fighting this battle together. The real challenges for businesses will begin once the Covid19 crisis is over, and CorpGini’s The (Corporate) Punch is helping India to be better prepared for the eventualities by empowering them with knowledge from global leaders.
