Constl Ties Up With Nokia For Data Centre Connectivity

Constl, a subsidiary of Space World Group, and Nokia have announced a strategic partnership for the pan-India deployment of a state-of-the-art Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) optical transport network across India - a landmark milestone for the webscale ecosystem and advancing trusted, high-performance optical connectivity nationwide.

With this development, Constl’s fibre rollout will provide high-capacity digital service infrastructure to power seamless connectivity, beginning with Mumbai – India’s leading data centre hub – and eventually, expanding across India. As Constl’s technology partner, Nokia is enabling high-capacity metro and data center interconnectivity (DCI) - powered by their 1830 Photonic Service Switch (PSS) platforms.

This new optical transport network addresses the exponential growth in bandwidth demand driven by cloud computing, AI workloads, and OTT services - delivering scalable, low-latency connectivity infrastructure required for mission-critical applications.
