One of the largest election monitoring operations executed in the country, Brihaspathi Technologies successfully implemented live webcasting and surveillance across all 17,307 polling stations during the Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections 2025, covering 10 districts and deploying more than 34,600 cameras on polling day.

The deployment, executed within 30 days, enabled authorities to monitor polling activity in real time through a centralised Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC)

Extensive District-Wise Coverage

The technology rollout covered 10 districts, including:

  • Nalanda (5,530 cameras)

  • Bhagalpur (5,372 cameras)

  • Katihar (5,084 cameras)

  • Nawada (4,338 cameras)

  • Jamui (3,190 cameras)

  • Munger (2,416 cameras)

  • Banka (2,246 cameras)

  • Jehanabad (2,018 cameras)

  • Lakhisarai (1,808 cameras)

  • Sheikhpura (1,164 cameras)

In total, 34,634 cameras were installed across polling stations, counting centers, strong rooms, and other critical locations, contributing to a cumulative deployment of approximately 35,500 units

Live streaming was conducted for 11–12 continuous hours, from 5 AM to 8 PM.

Advanced Technology Backbone

The elections leveraged Brihaspathi’s integrated solutions, including:

  • Live webcasting with cloud and disk backups

  • AI-based video analytics for enhanced monitoring

  • State-level dashboards for real-time decision-making

  • Rapid issue-resolution protocols via assembly-level coordinators

The company collaborated with key stakeholders, including the Election Commission of India, District Magistrates, Nodal Officers, and telecom partners Jio, Airtel, and BSNL

On-Ground Challenges Managed Efficiently

Despite challenges related to terrain, weak connectivity, locked school premises, and weather fluctuations, the team ensured continuous operations by:

  • Escalating access issues to district authorities

  • Switching network providers and repositioning devices

  • Using offline recording modes in no-network zones

Recognition From Election Authorities

The Election Commission of India and state CEOs acknowledged Brihaspathi’s contribution in strengthening the transparency and security of the electoral process through technology-enabled surveillance.

Mr Rajasekhar Papolu, Managing Director of Brihaspathi Technologies, quoted: “Delivering a project of this scale within 30 days demanded absolute precision, discipline, and technological excellence.
