BPL Medical Technologies, India’s leading medical equipment brand with a 50-year legacy under the BPL Group, has launched its latest innovations in critical-care technology at ISACON 2025. The newly introduced portfolio includes the ExcelSign E12 and E17 modular patient monitors and the Relife 1000 biphasic defibrillator. The focus was on BPL’s new OT charting software, designed to support hospitals in strengthening preparedness across ICUs, operating rooms, and emergency departments. A part of their digital solutions portfolio, the OT charting software was well received by eminent representatives from the industry.

The event saw 2,500 participants, and the new portfolio of BPL equipment was unveiled in the presence of eminent clinicians and distinguished guests: Dr. Bala Venkat, Executive Director – Head of SG Wealth & Retail Banking Data Analytics, Standard Chartered; Dr. Pradeep Sharma, Doctor, Shrikrishan Dev Clinic, Una; Dr. Ganga Chakra Rao Abbireddy, Pharmacy Technician, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories; Dr. Kameshwar Rao Modekurti, Associate Professor, IBS Hyderabad (IFHE); Dr. Kuchelababu Vankineni, Director, SevenHils Hospital; and Dr. Prabhakar Tallamraju, Director, UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences, Saifai, Etawah. They appreciated the enhanced capabilities and clinical focus integrated into the new solutions.

The BPL presentation drew strong interest from attendees, with over 200 visitors engaging with the company’s showcase across the event. Many clinicians spent time exploring the newly launched ExcelSign E12/E17 patient monitoring systems, noting their clarity of display, ease of navigation, and the practical usefulness of their modular configuration across ICUs, OTs and emergency settings. The Relife 1000 defibrillator also attracted steady attention, particularly among emergency-care teams who were keen on its guidance features and portability for rapid-response situations. One of the most discussed additions, however, was the newly introduced OT charting software, which several visitors described as a timely digital solution that could simplify intra-operative documentation and strengthen data continuity within operating rooms.

Commenting on the launches, Mr. Guruswamy Krishnamoorthy, CEO, BPL Medical Technologies, said, “We are pleased to introduce the ExcelSign E12/E17, Relife 1000, and our OT charting software at ISACON 2025. These additions strengthen our ongoing efforts to support hospitals with reliable and practical critical-care solutions suited for today’s clinical environments. ISACON provides an important platform to engage directly with clinicians and understand how our technologies can contribute to better patient monitoring, smoother workflows, and timely emergency response. With our expanding digital solutions, we are also focused on enabling smarter, more connected care systems that help clinicians access information more efficiently and make informed decisions at the point of care.”

India’s healthcare landscape is moving rapidly toward digitisation, with hospitals adopting connected systems to strengthen critical-care delivery and improve clinical decision-making. As smarter ICUs, integrated data flows, and automated documentation become essential, the demand for technologies that combine reliability with digital intelligence continues to grow. According to 6Wresearch, India's critical-care market is expected to rise at a CAGR of 5.6% during 2025-2031. With over five decades of experience under the BPL Group, BPL Medical Technologies is aligned with this shift; developing solutions that support real-time monitoring, streamlined workflows, and better coordination across critical care, cardiology, diagnostics, and imaging.
