Smartphone maker, Asus is all set to launch its Zenfone 5Z flagship smartphone in India. Although the smartphone first debuted in MWC 2018 and after that it had been launched in other countries but it was in a waitlist for the Indian markets. Priced at Rs 29,999, the phone is scheduled to be available on Flipkart, exclusively on 9th July. Listing of the phone is noted in Flipkart, right ahead of the launch. Many variants and colour options are seen in the Flipkart listing.
The clours that are displayed in Flipkart are same as those spotted in MWC 2018. The phone comes with 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage, 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM/ 256GB storage options. The 6GB RAM/64GB storage option is priced at Rs 29,999, 8GB RAM/128GB storage comes at a price of Rs Rs 32,999, as listed in Flipkart. Rs 36,999 is the price of high-end variant of the Zenfone 5Z with 8GB RAM and 256GB. Flipkart has also said that they would roll out bank offers along with no-cost EMI options to promote the sales of the phone, telecom talk reported.
Asus Zenfone 5Z Specifications
The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ (1080×2246 pixels) LCD panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It runs on the top end Snapdragon 845 SoC, paired with Adreno 630 GPU for graphics and up to 8GB of RAM.
The smartphone features a 12MP primary sensor with a f/1.8 aperture lens and an 8MP secondary sensor with a f/2.2 aperture lens for the camera. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor at the front with a f/2.0 aperture and 84-degree Field of View lens.
Asus Zenfone 5Z also has a face unlock feature and it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based ZenUI 5.0. The device is powered with 3,300mAh one battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, FM radio and also has a headphone jack, and it sports a USB Type-C port.
The device also comes with artificial intelligence (AI) backed fast charging technology and the handset weighs 155 grams.
