ASUS, a Taiwanese technology giant, has solidified its position as the No. 2 consumer notebook company in India for Q3 2025, according to the IDC Quarterly Personal Computing Device Tracker, 2025 Q3.
This milestone underscores ASUS' remarkable year-over-year (YoY) growth, driven by a strategic focus on getting closer to the customers by significantly expanding its product portfolio along with dialing up its retail touchpoints to extend a product experience in over 600+ districts in India.
From expanding business and onboarding new partners to strengthening presence across markets, ASUS India introduced breakthrough innovations across ASUS AI PCs, Consumer and Gaming Notebooks, as well as AiO, Desktop, and Accessories segments.
This year also saw the launch of the multi-color Vivobook, the ROG Ally X, and several successful campaigns that resonated strongly with the audiences. AiO segment continued to dominate the market, becoming one of the top-selling product categories across leading e-commerce platforms.
ASUS India also announced the launch of the lightest Copilot+ PC: ASUS Zenbook A14 and gained No.1 Market Share in NVIDIA RTX 5000 Series in India. ASUS through its DT and AiO line-up also introduced a series of devices and solutions for India.

ASUS strengthened its pan-India presence with a well-rooted network of retail channels. The company now operates over 320+ exclusive stores, 20 ROG stores, 5000+ multi-brand outlets across 624 districts. Being prevalent on e-commerce channels, the company also began delivering laptops and accessories through quick commerce channels. Further reimagining the retail experience of consumers, ASUS has also transformed retail touchpoints into hubs for digital learning and gaming experiences, collaborating with local ecosystems to host workshops and events. This approach fosters brand loyalty and supports emerging creators in Tier 2 and 3 cities.
As 2025 draws to a close, ASUS India is poised for even greater strides in 2026, with a sharp focus on AI PCs and premium offerings to capture leadership in the evolving PC landscape. The company aims to challenge the No. 1 position in 2026.
According to IDC, Q3 2025 for India’s traditional PC market that comprises desktops, notebooks, and workstations — achieved its strongest quarterly performance on record, with shipments reaching an all-time high of 4.9 million units. This represented a robust 10.1% year-over-year growth, comfortably surpassing the previous peak of 4.5 million units recorded in Q3 2024.
