The engagement comes at a time when demand for real-time environmental and weather intelligence is gaining momentum globally. Industry estimates suggest that the global weather monitoring systems market was valued at around USD 2.1 billion in 2024 and is expected to reach nearly USD 4.8 billion by 2034, driven by increasing focus on climate-risk management, infrastructure monitoring, and data-led urban planning. The shift toward IoT-enabled sensor networks is accelerating adoption of continuous, hyperlocal monitoring across cities, industries, and public infrastructure.
Under the engagement, Aimtron manufactures Aurassure’s outdoor environmental monitoring stations that capture real-time data across key parameters, including particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), gases, temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, and wind direction. The devices are IoT-enabled and designed for continuous data transmission into cloud-based platforms for monitoring and analysis.
The relevance of such systems is well established. The World Health Organization (WHO) has consistently highlighted air pollution as one of the leading environmental risks to human health globally, recommending stringent limits for particulate matter exposure. In India, data published by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) shows that air quality across several urban and industrial clusters frequently moves beyond acceptable limits, reinforcing the need for continuous, localized monitoring rather than periodic or averaged measurements.
Aurassure’s platforms are designed to address this gap by enabling real-time environmental visibility in a hyperlocal manner across any city. The hardware integrates with Aurassure’s environmental intelligence platform, allowing users to track trends, receive alerts, and make data-backed decisions across compliance monitoring, urban planning, and sustainability initiatives. All products under this engagement are designed and manufactured in India, with manufacturing facilities in Odisha. Beyond manufacturing, Aimtron also supports product design, engineering optimization, and manufacturability, ensuring the platforms are reliable, scalable, and suitable for long-term deployment across varied operating environments.
Commenting on the engagement, Sneh Shah, Whole Time Director, said, “We design and manufacture products for today’s needs while preparing for tomorrow’s challenges. Through our manufacturing engagement with Aurassure, we are leveraging and advanced manufacturing to build future-ready, environmentally responsible monitoring systems. By integrating precision electronics, IoT connectivity, and scalable design, we are enhancing efficiency and delivering resilient solutions that support long-term sustainability for cities, industries, and public infrastructure.”
Akanksha Priyadarshini, Co-Founder and CEO of Aurassure, said, “As the demand for credible environmental intelligence grows, scalable and dependable hardware becomes critical. Aimtron’s manufacturing and engineering capabilities help us deploy monitoring systems that can operate reliably across diverse conditions and use cases.”
