1M1B’s future tech experience zone at Gen Forum Ed Conclave 2023

1M1B (One Million for One Billion)—India’s largest organization that is developing and mobilizing the future technology workforce has displayed and showcased the innovative programs around future technologies designed to enhance learning outcomes for students at the recently held Gen Forum Ed Conclave 2023 on April 28 and 29, in Bengaluru.

Hundreds of educators and students from across India discovered and experienced the power of XR technology in education at 1M1B’s future tech experience zone. School leaders and educators from states like Assam, Mizoram, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, etc visited the 1M1B’s future tech experience zone.

1M1B engages and enables youth to become future-ready problem solvers creating real-world impact. The areas of focus include digital technologies (AI, AR, VR), digital creativity, digital citizenship, green skills, and 4th industrial revolution skills like problem-solving, flexibility, empathy, dealing with failures and collaboration. 1M1B programs are available in over 3,000 schools across India, with over 334,000 youth and 125,000 teachers trained to date. Over 250 villages are served by 1M1B.

Gen Forum Ed Conclave 2023 aimed to provide students and educators with the opportunity to learn from leading experts in the field, network with peers, and gain valuable insights into the latest trends and technologies.

On the occasion, Manav Subodh- Managing Director of 1M1B said, “We believe that incorporating virtual and augmented reality into the classroom can significantly enhance student engagement and understanding. 1M1B is implementing AI and immersive technologies like AR, VR for skilling and education. That's why we're commissioning VR labs in schools and incorporating foundation skill-building knowledge in emerging technologies into school curricula. By doing so, we're helping to create a pipeline of young, future-ready youth who will go on to become the future-ready workforce of the country.”
