1.5 Degree and PVR Cinemas Join Hands for Plant-Based Gelato Launch

1.5 Degree, Delhi’s pioneering plant-based dairy start-up (recently raised seed-funding from BITS Pilani), has partnered with PVR Cinemas, India’s largest multiplex chain, to launch its first-ever public retail kiosks serving a range of 100% natural, lactose-free gelatos, shakes, and sundaes.

The kiosks have been thoughtfully launched at two of the most iconic cinema destinations in NCR — PVR ECX Chanakyapuri (Delhi’s only ECX) and PVR Inox Worldmark, Gurgaon — offering movie-goers an indulgent yet guilt-free treat that complements the cinema experience.

This collaboration brings 1.5degree.co’s, a signature range of 100% natural, lactose-free, and palm-oil-free gelatos, shakes, and sundaes to cinema audiences seeking both indulgence and wellness. The brand’s kiosks are built as illuminated experiential carts, blending the premium feel of cinema spaces with 1.5 Degree’s mission — “Plant-based to Cool a Warmer Planet.”

To celebrate this partnership, 1.5 Degree has curated exclusive PVR-inspired flavours such as Caramel Popcorn Gelato, alongside an indulgent menu featuring Mixed Berry, Biscoff, Mango, Coffee, and No-Added-Sugar Blueberry. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of sugar-free shakes and signature sundaes served in cans, designed for both convenience and freshness.
