Over Rs. 91000 Crores Worth of Sugarcane Purchased by Sugar Mills in 20-21

Sugarcane farmers get a big relief as Centre facilitates export of surplus sugar & diversion of sugar to ethanol to ensure timely payment of cane dues. Against the export target of 60 LMT, contracts of about 70 LMT have been signed.
