PSU Banks Struggle; Private Banks Acquire Public Trust, Get Significant Portion Of New Deposits

In India, the main eight private banks saw a flood in their stores by Rs 2.68 lakh crore on the whole. Then again, top-eight state-claimed banks saw an expansion in their stores by Rs 2.58 lakh crore. While PSBs have a genuinely predominant piece of the pie with 70% of business, private banks have attempted to get more prominent nearness by opening branches in rustic territories too.
