Earth Hour InFocus

Celebrating The Earth Hour Tonight From 8:30 PM To 9:30 PM

Initiated by the World Wildlife Fund, it occurs on the last Saturday of March every year from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. The emblematic endeavor began in 2007 in Sydney, Australia, when the WWF encouraged 2.2 million people to switch off their lights for one hour to aid the move on environmental change. From that point onwards, a huge number of people around the globe have participated. Tourist spots, for example, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Sydney Opera House, the Empire State Building, Buckingham Palace, the Colosseum and Edinburgh Castle have gone dark for 60 minutes.
