TEMA compliments the Govt. on releasing of guidelines for PLI in telecom. This is going to be a Landmark happening for Make in India Atma Nirbhar Bharat for Telecom. TEMA compliments that this has come at the most appropriate time when the domestic industry is geared up for starting manufacturing within India. DOT is complimented on very out of box initiative to reserve three applicants in each category only for domestic companies.
“This is a much-needed effort and will result in Indian global champions with Rs 12,195 Crores incentive over the next five years. One of the great initiatives is that for the first time, Rs 1,000 crores has been earmarked for the MSME category.
TEMA is particularly happy that threshold limits for investment is has been made quite reasonable at Rs 10.00 Crores for MSME and Rs 100 crores for non-MSME. TEMA believes that the scheme will result in an investment of Rs 3,000 Crores and increased production for Rs 3.00 lakh crores,” TEMA’s official statement quoted.
