The much-anticipated Solaris 2.0, the flagship event of NMIMS Bengaluru, concluded recently, leaving participants and attendees with an unforgettable experience. Held at the NMIMS Bengaluru (Bannerghatta) campus, this two-day extravaganza was a testament to the spirit of learning, competition, and creativity. Solaris 2.0 was envisioned by the campus as more than just an event - it was a platform for students to push their limits, engage in meaningful discourse, and showcase their talents on a national stage. It was about embracing challenges, fostering intellectual and artistic excellence, and building a community of driven individuals ready to take on the world.
This edition of Solaris saw four prestigious national events running simultaneously over both days, each offering a unique experience. Scriptivox, the article-writing competition, tested participants' ability to articulate and analyse complex topics.
Jashn-e-Junoon, the cultural extravaganza covering competitions such as dance, singing, short film-making and battle of the bands, was spread across both days, filling the campus with vibrant music, dance, and drama performances.
The 2nd Justice C.K. Thakker Moot and Mediation Competition, a dynamic blend of mooting and mediation, spanned both days, with the semi-finals and finals taking place on Day 2.
The high-intensity Evidence Enigma: Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) event unfolded on the second day, challenging participants to step into the shoes of forensic experts and solve a gripping mystery. This competition immersed participants in a mock crime scene investigation. Teams acted as forensic examiners, gathering evidence, analysing clues, and presenting detailed reports.
The festival culminated in a grand valedictory ceremony, where participants' hard work and dedication were recognised and celebrated.
Solaris 2.0 was not just a competition but a journey of growth, collaboration, and inspiration. With its resounding success, the event has set a new benchmark, promising even greater editions in the years to come.
