Sandhydeep Purri Named Unacademy's New Chief People Officer

Unacademy, India’s largest learning platform*, today announced the appointment of Sandhydeep Purri as the Chief People Officer. Sandhydeep is a seasoned HR professional with over 25 years of extensive experience in leadership roles across diverse industries and geographies. She has a proven track record of keeping the people charter at the center while driving large-scale changes that transform businesses.

Before joining Unacademy, Sandhydeep held the position of Chief People Officer at Sapphire Foods, overseeing HR strategies for brands like Pizza Hut and KFC. Prior to Sapphire Foods, she was responsible for organization development and organization effectiveness initiatives across the Aditya Birla Group’s Retail Sector that included, Aditya Birla Retail (now More Retail), Pantaloons Fashion Retail and Madura Fashion and Garments, including stores and Non-Store facilities.

Sandhydeep brings a wealth of expertise to Unacademy, having worked in Manufacturing, Media & Entertainment, Consulting, Information Technology, Retail, and various other sectors. Her versatile career has seen her operate on the global stage, with notable contributions in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America markets.
