RMSI Unveils SIRENNX to Aid Businesses in Disaster Response

Unveiled at the four-day-long Geo Smart India event, which concluded today in Hyderabad, SIRENNX will alert businesses with a lead time of 2-3 days for hazard events.

RMSI- a global geospatial and engineering solutions provider, today announced the launch of SIRENNX, an AI-enabled natural hazard impact forecasting SAAS (Software as a Service) platform. The advanced platform will empower businesses in the Industrial, Commercial, Utility, Telecommunication, and Insurance sectors by providing site-specific early warnings about potential hazards impact, for likely floods, cyclones, landslides, lightning, and earthquakes.

Unveiled at the four-day-long Geo Smart India event, which concluded today in Hyderabad, SIRENNX will alert businesses with a lead time of 2-3 days for hazard events. With this lead time, businesses can implement risk-reduction measures to reduce the impact of such events. In case of earthquakes, the system will issue an impact alert within 24 hours after the event.

This path-breaking technology has been designed by combining AI&ML with Numerical modeling utilizing a wide variety of datasets providing inputs related to weather, topography, geology, land use, soil, people behavior, structural behavior, organizational behavior, etc.

Speaking on the occasion, Pushpendra Johari, SVP - Sustainability, RMSI, said, In the wake of climate change, the Natural Disasters are inflicting severe challenges to private enterprises from structural losses to business interruption losses, slowing them down in their sustainability and net-zero journeys. SIRENNX has been created to give such enterprises a chance to boost their resilience against climatic events by implementing risk reduction measures and informing them of the potential impacts of climatic events ahead of time.
