A day ahead of International Women’s Day tomorrow, March 8, Recordent has announced an initiative aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs by helping them strengthen financial discipline and safeguard their businesses against payment delays.
Women-led businesses are playing an increasingly important role in India’s SME ecosystem. However, delayed payments and limited access to structured credit risk tools continue to affect their ability to maintain healthy cash flows and scale sustainably.
Through this initiative, Recordent aims to empower women entrepreneurs with smarter, AI-driven capabilities and greater financial visibility to manage receivables and reduce payment risks. The platform enabled with Unified AI and integrated receivables intelligence, will help women-led businesses make more informed decisions, strengthen credit discipline and build resilient enterprises that can grow with confidence.
As part of the initiative, Recordent has introduced a Women SME Entrepreneur Plan, designed specifically for women-led businesses to manage receivables and address payment delays in a structured way.
Priced at ₹35,000 (subscription), the plan includes:
10 Caution Notices
10 Legal Notices
3 months of ARM (Automated Receivables Management) service
The plan excludes Business Information Reports and is available to businesses with at least one woman owner or director and that are wholly woman-led.
Speaking about the initiative, Winny Patro, CEO & Co-Founder, Recordent, said:
“Women entrepreneurs are building some of the most resilient SMEs in India, yet delayed payments and credit risk continue to affect their growth. At Recordent, we believe empowering women founders also means equipping them with the right financial tools and support systems to protect their businesses. This Women’s Day, we are introducing a lifelong Women SME Entrepreneur Plan to help women-led businesses recover dues faster and build stronger credit discipline through structured receivables management and legal support. This women-focused enterprise solution offered at an affordable price point will strengthen the financial confidence of women entrepreneurs and support the growth of more resilient and sustainable businesses led by women across India.”
“Many daughters grow up seeing the hard work behind the businesses their fathers built. One day, we step in — not just to continue the story, but to write the next chapter.
With Recordent supporting our receivables management, we can focus on what truly matters: growing the legacy we inherited. This International Women’s Day, I celebrate the daughters who are shaping the future of family businesses.” — Shreya Malu, Director -Anmol Industries.
“At Sampada-Uplift, we are proud to be a women-led and largely women-staffed organization, where nearly 75% of our emergency medical loans support treatment for women. In this work, Recordent has been a valuable partner—helping us access credit scores quickly so we can make responsible lending decisions when families approach us during medical emergencies" - Payal Agarwal, Co-Founder & Chairperson, Sampada-Uplift Womens' Credit Cooperative.
Beyond this year long plan itself, Recordent intends to use this initiative to achieve financial discipline and credit protection among women entrepreneurs through their on-going SME Meetups, knowledge sessions and community engagement.
