Next Education Partners with SELCO Solar to Transform Education Using Sustainable Technology

Next Education, a leading SaaS-based end-to-end education solutions provider, has joined forces with Selco Solar India Pvt Ltd in a remarkable initiative aimed at advancing educational access and sustainability across India. This collaboration marks a significant step towards environmentally conscious and technologically enhanced schools in the country.

With a shared commitment to making a meaningful impact on education, Next Education and SELCO embarked on this transformative journey by identifying schools in regions including Dharwad, Belgavi, Chickmagaluru, Yadgir, Hassan, and Tumkuru. The partnership also includes key NGO partners such as the Menda Foundation, Youth for Seva, and Selco Foundation, which played a crucial role in driving this project forward. As a result of this collaboration, Next Education's digital classroom solutions, known as Teach Next, were seamlessly integrated with Selco's renewable solar energy solutions.

Over the course of four years, Selco India's sustainable energy focus has led to the enhancement of schools by integrating digital education and leveraging technology to provide an enriched learning experience. This partnership showcases the immense potential of solar-powered digital classrooms to revolutionise education while ensuring sustainability and accessibility, especially in underserved areas.

Some of the key project highlights of this collaboration include engaging with over 1200 schools in Rural Karnataka and extending the impact to more than 200 schools in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Bihar. This widespread reach ensures that the initiative's benefits are felt across a broad geographic area. Additionally, the successful implementation of over 1400 solar-powered digital classrooms has created a transformative learning environment. This initiative has also had a direct impact on students, teachers, and local communities, amplifying its positive effects across both the educational and social spheres.
