MBU International Conclave Highlights AI for Energy and Health

Mohan Babu University (MBU) successfully hosted its International Research Conclave, organised by the Research & Innovation Wing in collaboration with IEEE and the Institution’s Innovation Council (a Ministry of HRD initiative). The conclave brought together researchers, academicians, industry experts, and policymakers to deliberate on the theme “AI-Driven Sustainable Technologies for Energy, Health & Society.”

The conclave witnessed active participation from members of MBU’s International, National, and Industrial Advisory Councils, reinforcing academia–industry linkages and enabling cross-disciplinary dialogue. Discussions focused on identifying collaborative research opportunities, seed-grant initiatives, and industry-aligned projects aligned with national and global sustainability priorities.

The two-day, in-person conclave provided a dedicated platform for Ph.D., postgraduate, and undergraduate scholars to present their ongoing research. Designed to support the translation of academic research into real-world applications, the conclave also enabled participants to explore funding avenues, joint research programmes, and industry partnerships. The agenda featured keynote addresses, expert panel discussions, and skill-building workshops on intellectual property, research commercialisation, and scientific writing.

Technical sessions spanned a wide range of domains, including artificial intelligence, sustainable energy and power systems, electric vehicles and smart mobility, digital health and biomedical innovations, advanced materials and manufacturing, IoT and embedded systems, smart infrastructure, social sciences, management studies, and technology-enabled community development.
