Malabar Gold & Diamonds Reaffirms Commitment to Its Core Values and Responsibility

Malabar Gold & Diamonds has reaffirmed its commitment to the core values, Indian heritage and ethical responsibility in a communication to its 27,500 employees. The company said it takes immense pride in being rooted in India’s rich traditions and guided by enduring principles that define its ethos.

Referring to recent social media discussions, the company said it understands and respects public sentiments and clarified that certain online narratives have circulated incomplete or misleading interpretations of a past marketing engagement. “These impressions do not reflect our true ethos or the principles that guide us,” the company stated in its internal communication.

The clarification follows defamatory social media posts making false and baseless claims about the company’s campaign. The Hon’ble Bombay High Court has granted ad-interim relief to Malabar Gold & Diamonds and directed the deletion of all such defamatory posts, materials, and stories from online platforms. 

Reiterating its core belief, the company emphasized that its foundation of trust continues to be built on values and strengthened by responsibility — principles that have consistently guided its conduct, strengthened its reputation, and earned the enduring faith of customers, employees, and partners worldwide.
