With this program, launched simultaneously in all these three locations, Lingaro aims to offer a well-rounded approach to equip women professionals in IT with mentorship, career guidance, and leadership development opportunities.
Empowering Women in Technology
India’s Global Capability Centers (GCCs) employ over 1.4 million professionals and is projected to reach 2 million by 2026. Further, as per projections, Women’s Workforce Participation Rate (WPR) in India’s tech industry is expected to rise to 14.9%, signaling a demographic shift in the country’s fastest growing industries. Currently, 1.92 million women are part of the tech workforce. With the IT Power Women Global Mentoring program, Lingaro is committed to ensuring that these women are well equipped to not just be a part of the system but also play an integral role in the growth of the sector. Through structured mentorship, the Program aims to bridge the gender gap, provide career acceleration opportunities, and create a more inclusive industry landscape.

The IT Power Women Mentorship Program is designed to follow a structured process to ensure its success. This includes:

Mentor Recruitment: An internal assessment process will select experienced mentors from within the company.

Mentee Recruitment: Female tech students who demonstrate motivation, engagement, and a strong commitment to personal and professional development will be invited to apply through an online application process.

Mentor/Mentee Matching: Mentors and mentees will be carefully matched based on their skills, experience, and career goals, ensuring meaningful mentoring relationships.

Kick-Off Event: The program will officially begin with a launch event, where participants will meet, program expectations will be set, and mentoring best practices will be covered in an interactive training session.
