The institute also has a Center for Distance and Online Education to impart education to the students from far away states and countries across the globe.

The institution provides plenty of amenities and infrastructure including academic and industry collaborated laboratories and research centers, a well-stocked library, and excellent sports facilities to ensure the holistic development of students. The institute has a highly qualified team of over 1,400+ faculty, out of which 750+ are Ph.D. holders, and 500+ are pursuing their Ph.D. The university is offering a high teacher-student ratio to ensure closer supervision and mentoring to the students. 

KL Deemed-to-be-University has received many accolades for excellence in academics. It is ranked 27th in the NIRF 2022 rankings of top Universities of India.  It was ranked 6th T-School in the DataQuest all India rankings for the year 2020-2021. The University also received the rank A in the Self-Finance Private Institutions category, by ARIAA – Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements. Recently, the University has been awarded 'One District One Green Champion,” under Swachhta Plan initiative by the Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education (MGNCRE), Department of Higher Education under the Ministry of Education of the Government of India.
