KL Deemed to be University has taken a pioneering step in digital transformation with the launch of the Juniper AI-Driven Campus – Center of Excellence (CoE) recently in its campus. The center, established in collaboration with Juniper Networks, a global leader in AI-driven networking, represents an initiative in India to bring enterprise-grade, AI-powered digital infrastructure into an academic ecosystem.
The inauguration was led by Ms. Archana Yadav, Global Head of Juniper Academy, as the Chief Guest, and Mr. Shubhajeet Jagadev, CEO of Eduskills, as the Guest of Honor. KL Juniper AI-Driven Campus is not just a lab, but a living digital ecosystem where every component—Wi-Fi, wired LAN, WAN, security, and collaboration platforms—is integrated and optimized by Artificial Intelligence. Unlike conventional networking labs, this CoE introduces students to AI-driven network management systems that learn, predict, and self-heal, ensuring uninterrupted connectivity and superior security. Students and faculty will directly engage with technologies like Mist AI, cloud-native orchestration tools, and enterprise-scale automation frameworks, the same platforms deployed across global digital enterprises.
Highlighting the vision behind the initiative, Er. Koneru Satyanarayana, Chancellor of KL Deemed-to-be University, said, “By integrating AI-powered networking into the heart of our university, we are ensuring that our students gain first-hand exposure to technologies that are shaping industries worldwide. This CoE is not just about infrastructure—it is about empowering students to innovate, lead, and become global digital leaders.”
The CoE will open transformative opportunities for students, including access to Juniper Global Academy certifications, internships with Juniper Networks and Eduskills, and research opportunities in AI-driven networking, IoT, and 5G applications. It also sets the stage for student-led innovation and startup incubation in emerging digital technologies. Parallel to student benefits, around 60 faculty members are undergoing Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) to ensure advanced technical expertise is transferred to classrooms.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Archana Yadav emphasized the importance of AI-driven campuses in redefining digital learning environments, while Mr. Shubhajeet Jagadev highlighted how industry-academia partnerships are critical to nurturing a future-ready workforce.
With the launch of this CoE, KL University has positioned itself as a national leader in digital education and AI-driven innovation, ensuring its students are equipped to lead the global digital revolution. The event was attended by senior leadership of the university, including Dr. K. Rajasekhara Rao, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Dr. A. Srinath, Dean – Skilling, Dr. V. Rajesh, Principal – College of Engineering, and Dr. Radhika Rani Chintala, Principal – Academic Staff College & SPOC for the CoE.
