Jaipuria Annual Refresher Training 2025 Empowers Teachers with New-age Skills

Seth Anandram Jaipuria Group of Schools hosted the 4th edition of its flagship programme, ‘Re Skilling - Up Skilling: Jaipuria Annual Refresher Training 2025’, at the Shaheed Path campus in Lucknow on June 21, 2024. Themed ‘Defining Growth By Redefining Education,’ the event aimed to equip educators with contemporary pedagogical tools and practices.

The opening ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Raghav Gupta, IRS officer, along with Mr. Harish Sanduja, Director of Schools and IT, Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions and Ms. Poonam Kochitty, principal of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Shaheed Path. Over 300 participants, including principals, teachers, and partners from across the group's network, took part in the intensive training programme.

Mr. Raghav Gupta lauded the initiative and appreciated the Jaipuria Annual Refresher Training for pursuing the vision of progressive education across various states of India. Mr. Harish Sanduja stressed the need for educators to stay aligned with evolving technologies and student needs through constant upskilling.

The training featured subject-focussed sessions for teachers of all grades. It also covered vital topics such as POSH and POCSO and introduced Lexile, a metric used to assess students’ reading levels and comprehension. The programme aimed to build modern teaching competencies while fostering collaboration and innovation among educators.

Ms. Shikha Banerjee, Senior Academic Advisor to Partner Schools, shared insights into the journey of the Refresher Training Programme over the past three years. She highlighted how the initiative has grown into a platform for teacher learning, networking, and professional growth. Mr. Taarun Chawlla, Sr. Vice-President, Partner Schools, underscored the vision to continuously upskill and reskill teachers to elevate the quality of education in Jaipuria Schools.

The event also celebrated excellence in teaching with the presentation of STTAR Teacher Awards and Lifetime Service Awards to distinguished educators. It concluded with the felicitation of valued partners and the welcoming of new ones into the Jaipuria network.
