The Environmental Cell of ITM Vocational University successfully organized “EcoVision 25”, a one-day event dedicated to fostering environmental awareness and promoting sustainable practices among students. The event aligned with the Cell’s ultimate goal — “स्वस्थ प्रकृति, सशक्त राष्ट्र” (Healthy Nature, Strong Nation) and aimed to encourage the university community to contribute actively toward environmental protection.

“EcoVision 25” featured a variety of engaging and thought-provoking activities, including Best out of Waste and the Green Quiz Challenge, designed to inspire creativity and a sense of responsibility toward nature. A total of 50 students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their innovative ideas and knowledge on sustainability. The event provided a valuable platform for participants to enhance their understanding of eco-friendly practices while reinforcing the importance of collective efforts in preserving our environment. The success of “EcoVision 25” reflected the Environmental Cell’s continuous commitment to nurturing eco-consciousness and promoting sustainable living within the campus community.

In addition to this, the Alumni Association of ITM Vocational University, under the leadership of Ms. Apexa Purohit, Director – Alumni Association, in coordination with Mr. Mayur Chavda, Assistant Professor, Mechatronics Engineering Department, organized an insightful seminar on “Innovation and Practices in Industrial Panel Design” on 7th November 2025. The session was conducted by Mr. Nayan Jayantibhai Suthar, a proud alumnus of the Mechatronics Engineering Department and a seasoned professional with industrial experience at reputed organizations such as Filtronics Systems Pvt. Ltd. and Precise Automation & Control Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Suthar shared his expertise in electrical panel design, PLC-based automation, VFD drives, and control system integration, offering students a glimpse into the latest innovations and practical aspects of industrial automation. The seminar served as a bridge between academic learning and real-world industrial practices, providing participants with valuable insights into professional applications of mechatronics engineering. A total of 26 students attended the session and gained a deeper understanding of how theoretical knowledge can be effectively applied in the industrial domain.

Dr. Anil Bisen, Pro-Vost, ITM Vocational University, Vadodara stated that, “Sustainability and innovation are two sides of the same vision, to create a world where progress nurtures the planet, not exhausts it. When young minds unite knowledge with conscience, the future becomes not just advanced, but truly sustainable.”
