ITM Skills University Starts Session for 2025–2029 B.Tech, BBA

ITM Skills University hosted a grand inauguration ceremony, marking the official welcome of the new BBA and B.Tech (CSE 2025–2029) batches. The event brought together students, parents, faculty, and industry leaders in a vibrant celebration of academic beginnings and future possibilities.

The day began with a traditional Deep Prajwalan and potted plant presentation, symbolizing knowledge and growth. Anchored by Tanay, Saniya, and Manmeet for the B.Tech event, and Rahilla and Kanishk for BBA, the ceremonies reflected both tradition and modern educational vision. Dr. Jaywant Shelar, Vice Chancellor, delivered a compelling welcome address, followed by an inspiring keynote by Chairman Dr. P. V. Ramana, who emphasized nurturing agile, tech-savvy, and emotionally intelligent minds.

The BBA segment featured addresses by top industry leaders and a soulful BBA anthem, while the B.Tech ceremony highlighted student-driven activities like Demo Day, a special tech demo by Vrishank, and interactive audience polls. Mr. Nitin Putcha, CEO of ITM Group, encouraged students to embrace creativity and ethical thinking in an AI-driven future.

In his address, Mr. Nitin Putcha, CEO of the ITM Group, spoke passionately about the future of education “We must not prepare students for jobs that AI will replace, but instead for roles where human creativity, emotional intelligence, and ethical reasoning matter most. We  must stay learner-obsessed—constantly evolving, innovating, and thinking long-term.”

Student achievements were celebrated with awards for startup winners, Demo Day champions, and academic toppers. Highlights included over ₹1 lakh in cash prizes, recognition of top internship performers, and participation in prestigious hackathons. Notable winners included Sayuj Pillai and team for Demo Day, and Zahid, Dhairya, and Leena Parkhe for the Startup Challenge.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Lakshmi Mohan, emphasizing ITM’s commitment to building future-ready leaders. With this inspiring start, ITM Skills University reaffirmed its dedication to academic excellence, industry integration, and holistic student development.
