“The Indian real estate industry is currently thriving despite the headwinds facing the global real estate market. Many factors have contributed to this success, including strong economic growth, favourable demographics and increased foreign investment. This has resulted in increased demand for housing, both from first-time buyers and those looking to up trade their homes.” said Mr. Shiwang Suraj, Founder & Director at INFRAMANTRA.
For the first time in over a decade the real estate segment has seen simultaneous growth in all major verticals. The previous calendar year provided the much-needed impetus and led to record-breaking sales.
Homebuyers remain enthused about purchasing homes, despite rising interest rates. So, real estate developers are focusing on launching projects that are aligned as per the needs of the homebuyers. Builders are also focusing on completing their pending projects and bringing them in demand-led supply.
