IGX Awards GAIL Proprietary Member Of The Year Title

GAIL (India) Limited has been conferred the “Proprietary Member of the Year” award during the annual Energy Talk event organised by the Indian Gas Exchange (IGX) in New Delhi. On behalf of GAIL, Shri Sumit Kishore, ED (Marketing – Gas), received the award from Shri A.K. Tiwari, Member of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB).

The award recognises GAIL’s exemplary commitment and sustained contributions toward strengthening India’s gas trading ecosystem and promoting market-based procurement mechanisms. During the event, GAIL’s pivotal role in supporting the development of a transparent, efficient, and robust gas marketplace was also acknowledged.

Indian Gas Exchange (IGX) organized its annual flagship event, Energy Talk 2026 and brought together distinguished leaders from the public and private sectors, policymakers, and industry experts. The forum facilitated meaningful deliberations on strategies and key enablers required to position India as a leading gas trading hub.
