IG Drones, India’s leading drone tech and analytics company, has completed the drone survey of the upcoming Puri International Airport in Odisha. The state government had recently invited global bids for the Rs 2,203 crore project. IG Drones has completed the full survey of the airport in  2month and now it will help prepare a Detailed Project Report (DPR) by surveying the project through high-tech drones. The company will utilize domestically developed drones to regularly monitor the ongoing progress of work on the ground.

The company will use domestically developed drones equipped with advanced sensors to capture high-resolution images, videos, and additional data. This data is processed through their proprietary software, IG One, providing in-depth technical insights and real-time project tracking.

We deployed our 10 drones for this project All efforts were taken regarding the safety and security of our staff as well as equipment”

Named Sri Jagannath International Airport, it’ll be constructed near Puri’s Sipasarubali area, according to reports. The project's first phase involves developing 4.6 million passengers per annum (mppa) capacity under a public-private partnership (PPP) model. It is estimated to cost Rs 2,203 crore and will cover an area of approximately 1,165 acres.

IG Drones has successfully secured numerous high-profile surveying projects, showcasing its prowess in utilizing state-of-the-art technology. The company recently secured work order to conduct drone survey at NDMC Diamond Mining Project, Panna. In April, it bagged the contract for a crucial pipeline inspection at NTPC Darlipali Thermal Power Station in Odisha, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this way, IG Drones has secured several surveying projects using its latest technology, in the past.
