Highlander and Tokyo Talkies, two of the fastest-growing fashion brands under Brand Studio Lifestyle, unveil their largest flagship store to date – a sprawling 12,000 sq. ft. retail space at JP Nagar, Bangalore. The 40th store is a landmark launch that marks a major milestone in their rapid offline expansion journey, which began in February 2024 with a modest 600 sq. ft. outlet in Ahmedabad.
Brand Studio Lifestyle has set its sights on reaching 75 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs) across India by March 2026, while also expanding retail presence through Shop-in-Shop (SIS) formats across 600 points of sale in Large Format Stores (LFS) and Multi-Brand Outlets (MBO).
The JP Nagar store is designed as an immersive retail experience – blending scale, design, and accessibility. Shoppers can explore extensive collections from Highlander and Tokyo Talkies, featuring trendy, affordable fashion tailored for India’s young, style-conscious demographic. The flagship outlet serves as a template for upcoming large-format stores in metro cities.
Both brands continue to reinforce their omnichannel presence by integrating offline and online shopping journeys. Highlander and Tokyo Talkies are already available on leading e-commerce platforms, quick commerce apps, and through their official website www.getketch.com and the Ketch app, offering faster delivery for on-demand consumers. Their reach now extends across six states and more than 20,000 pincodes, with Getketch serving a customer base of over 3 million. The new flagship also acts as a hub for personalized shopping experiences powered by technology.
Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Shyam S Prasad, CEO, Brand Studio Lifestyle, said: “This flagship store is a mega platform to showcase the breadth of the latest trending styles launched each month. Customers have the opportunity to explore the best in global fashion in this vast space and experience the fashionable assortment on offer.” He also adds, “Going forward, we have a mix of large flagship stores of 8,000–12,000 sq. ft. and mid-sized stores ranging from 2,000–3,000 sq. ft. Our recent launches in the UAE are also quite large, underscoring our ambition for both national and international expansion.”
India’s fashion retail market is on a sharp growth trajectory, with industry reports estimating it will touch $115 billion by 2028. Within this, fast fashion continues to outpace the broader market, driven by Gen Z and millennial consumers in urban and Tier-2 cities. By investing in large-format stores and omnichannel distribution, Highlander and Tokyo Talkies position themselves at the forefront of this growth opportunity.
