Tefal, the global leader in premium cookware and home appliances, reaffirmed its commitment to the Indian market at its flagship event, Tefal Première, held in New Delhi. The exclusive showcase introduced Tefal’s most expansive, innovation-led product portfolio tailored to the dynamic needs of urban Indian households.

Actor and UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador Dia Mirza, who joined the unveiling, set the tone for the evening with her message on sustainability and conscious living. “Tefal’s thoughtful design—like an electric pressure cooker that shuts off automatically, a pan that tells you when it’s hot, or a vacuum that bends so you don’t have to—blends innovation with intention. It’s not just about convenience; it’s about trust, safety, and wellness for our families,” said Mirza. “Their commitment to durability, safety, and the use of recycled materials aligns closely with my lifestyle and values.”

At the heart of the showcase were key product launches reflecting Tefal’s philosophy of intuitive, durable, and high-performance solutions. Among the highlights:

  • PureGrind Mixer Grinder: Powerful, safe, and tailored for Indian cooking.

  • BlendUp Personal Blender: Eight smart programs for quick, nutrient-rich blends.

  • Cookware Innovations: New Revive ceramic range, Intensium stainless steel tri-ply range, and Flavour Force Titanium cookware with Tefal’s patented Thermo-signal technology.

  • Smart Kitchen Appliances: Dual-basket air fryer and electric pressure cooker with 12 Indian cooking presets.

  • Home Care Range: High-performance steam irons, garment steamers, and the X-Force 13.60 cordless vacuum with flexible cleaning capability.

Olivier Nacchache, EVP of Emerging Markets & APAC, opened the event by outlining Tefal’s long-term vision for India, reinforcing its strategic focus on localised innovation and sustainability. Over 10 of the 40+ new products launching in 2025–26 have been designed, tested, and developed specifically for India and are being manufactured at Tefal’s Baddi facility in Himachal Pradesh. The facility also handles in-house motor production, ensuring global performance standards with local adaptations, such as metal-spatula safe coatings and menu presets for Indian dishes.

“Tefal Première is not just about product launches—it’s a reaffirmation of our commitment to Indian consumers,” said Ashish Kakkar, CEO, Groupe SEB India. “Our products are designed to last longer, reduce waste, and redefine how Indian homes approach modern living. With our robust manufacturing capabilities, we can deliver globally benchmarked products adapted for Indian kitchens.”

Jasjeet Kaur, Vice President, Marketing at Groupe SEB India, added: “We’re honoured to have Dia Mirza unveil a range that echoes our ethos—conscious innovation for everyday ease. Tefal stands out in a crowded marketplace by offering solutions that are safe, smart, and durable, empowering consumers to make better choices for their homes and their health.”

Tefal’s roadmap for India is ambitious. Backed by Groupe SEB—a French multinational with over €8 billion in global turnover and a footprint in 150+ countries—Tefal is the world’s No.1 in cookware and Europe’s No.1 in blending and linen care. In India, its reach spans over 10,000 retail points, 300+ distributors, and major e-commerce platforms, supported by an enhanced pan-India service network.

Looking ahead, Tefal plans to expand into coffee makers, kitchen tools, and storage solutions, with enhanced consumer engagement through festive campaigns, digital-first initiatives, and experiential shop-in-shop formats. As Indian households increasingly prioritise intelligent kitchen and home solutions, Tefal aims to be the partner of choice in driving long-term value and everyday convenience.
