Enlight Metals Strengthens Role in India’s Key Infra Projects

Enlight Metals Pvt. Ltd., one of India’s fastest-growing metal aggregators, has significantly reinforced its presence in national infrastructure by supplying over 5,800 tonnes of high-grade steel for two marquee government projects the Pune Metro and Udaipur Airport.

For the Pune Metro, Enlight Metals delivered more than 4,000–4,500 tonnes of plates, structural steel, TMT bars (grades 550 and 550D), and pipes to leading infrastructure contractors such as Tata-Gulermak JV, Shapoorji Pallonji, J Kumar, and others. The company’s strategic proximity to the project site enabled swift delivery within 48–72 hours of each order, keeping construction timelines on track and reinforcing execution efficiency.

At the Udaipur Airport, Enlight Metals supplied 1,300 tonnes of consultant-approved YST 310-grade pipes and sections in collaboration with Nyati Engineering Pvt. Ltd., the main contractor. Deliveries were executed in cycles of around 15 days, tailored to project phases over a 2–3 year period. The airport project has now been successfully completed.

The company emphasized the use of high-strength material grades including TMT bars (550, 550D), YST 310 (Udaipur), YST 210 (selectively), and primary-grade structural steel to ensure long-term durability and compliance with stringent government specifications.

Enlight Metals coordinated closely with supplier plants to maintain rigorous quality control and on-spec production. The company handled material loading, while unloading was managed at the site level. Notably, there were no major logistics or site-specific challenges encountered during either project.
