Easebuzz, a full-stack payment solutions provider, has received final authorisation from the Reserve Bank of India to operate as an Online Payment Aggregator (PA) under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007. This approval marks a defining moment for Easebuzz, enabling it to continue operating as an authorised payments platform and help process online payments for Indian Businesses across sectors like eCommerce, Education, Real Estate, Travel & Tourism etc.
With this license, Easebuzz now joins a select group of approved payment aggregators in India, who are authorized to facilitate digital transactions for merchants under the regulatory framework set by the Reserve Bank of India. Easebuzz Payments platform is currently processing an annualised Gross Transaction Value (GTV) of USD 30 Bn, and is serving more than 2,00,000 businesses including SMEs and startups.

Easebuzz is also expanding its digital offerings to become a full-stack financial operating system. Recently the platform has forayed into B2B Payments and has launched invoice management and payments platform in partnership with NPCI Bharat BillPay (NBBL). Easebuzz has also been certified as Biller Operating Unit (BOU) on Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS). The company has seen phenomenal momentum in FY24, with revenues surging to INR 290 Crore, and it is expected to cross INR 600 Cr revenue mark in FY25. The daily volume run rate of payments processed by the platform crossed 1 Mn transactions, and the company has been profitable since inception.
