DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has secured a work order valued at INR 2.59 crore from the Indian Army – Ministry of Defence for the supply of 500 sub-tactical very short-range drones. This prestigious order reinforces DroneAcharya’s growing contribution to India’s defence modernization and highlights its proven capabilities in designing and manufacturing advanced FPV (First Person View) drones for military applications.
This development follows a series of significant defence wins for the company. Recently, DroneAcharya received another order worth INR 1.09 crore for the supply of 180 FPV drones to the Indian Army, marking the third major defence contract in quick succession.
In addition, the company was awarded a project worth INR 99.67 lakh for the supply of drones and establishment of an advanced Drone Lab. The scope of this project includes delivering a comprehensive range of drone systems such as Combat-Ready FPV Drones (7-inch and 10-inch variants), Surveillance Drones, Training Drones, and customized Nano Drones, along with setting up a state-of-the-art Drone Lab featuring integrated drone technologies and training infrastructure.
With these consecutive defence orders, DroneAcharya continues to strengthen its strategic presence in India’s defence ecosystem, supporting the nation’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat through indigenous drone manufacturing and innovation.
